Think your four-legged training partner is the fastest in the neighborhood? Here is your chance to prove it. The Dog Mile is a competitive heat for runners and their well-behaved pets to tackle the flat Old Mason straightaway together. To ensure a safe and smooth experience for all paws involved, fields are strictly limited and will be capped at a small number of participants—so if you want in, sign up early.
The Ground Rules:
Leashed at all times: No exceptions. A standard 4–6ft non-retractable leash is required (no "flexi" leashes).
Control is Key: Dogs must be comfortable in a high-energy race environment and remain under the runner's control from start to finish.
Full Regulations: All participants must abide by the specific canine safety guidelines outlined on the registration page to ensure a fun, incident-free race for everyone.
